What is the 80/20 rule in dentistry?
The 80/20 rule suggests around 80% of dental problems come from 20% of your teeth, usually the back molars where plaque tends to build up the most. That’s why thorough cleaning of your back teeth at home matters so much. We pay special attention to these problem areas at every check-up and hygienist visit.
Can a dentist prescribe diazepam?
Yes, dentists can prescribe diazepam for dental anxiety, although it’s becoming less common because of safety concerns and the risk of drug interactions.
